If I bought a 1-year pass not digitally will I complete the golden age challenge which requires you to be subscribed to Xbox live gold for 6 consecutive months?

The gem challenges just started on October 1. So you'll receive the gems after it's been 6 months from then.

Golden Age Challenge

I have had my Xbox Live Gold subscription going for over a year now. Currently I am on month 7 of 12 of my year long subscription. Is there any thing special that I need to do to complete the Golden Age Challenge at this point?

Hello Sphynx Osiris,

Yes, that subscription will still go towards this offer. Currently you are at 99 days of consecutive Gold days. The only type of subscription that does not work for our program is promotional subscriptions.

Gems were only created in October. It is not possible to reward them for activity done before they existed.

Gems were only created in October. We cannot reward activity done before they existed. Since it has not been a full six months since October, it is not currently possible to complete that MyChallenge.

Since challenges just started on October 1, it hasn't quite been enough time to complete that challenge. Since this is the 6th month since it started, you should receive it early in April.
