    Golden age for the 360?

Are we experiencing the golden age for the 360? With the launch of the Xbox One, it seems that Microsoft may be trying to generate as much revenue as possible for the 360 and they are offering up a lot of great deals which have me opening up my wallet.

    .

The free games for gold is great. While a lot of the games do not interest me, there have been a few gems out there. There are also a ton of great specials and discounts on great games... picking up a game for $5 or $10 is a steal. Currently I am playing
"Dark Souls" which I admit, paid $20.00 for early 2013 but it's awesome.

    .

I just cannot see me buying an Xbox one anytime soon (or ps4 for that matter) with all the great content coming down the pipe on the 360. I don't know why I wrote this post, I guess just to say "Yah for the 360!"

Do You Like The 360 or XboxOne Home Screen Better

Aren't they the same? I loved the zune interface back in 2009. That was the golden age of Xbox.

    Dragon Age: Origins

Dragon Age: Origins, a featured game in Games with Gold for June, is not available for my region. I have a Gold Subscription.

Why Russian Federation would not get Dragon age Origins in this month?

    Golden age for the 360?

Yeah, Microsoft is putting out some deals for 360 stuff. Unfortunately, I don't play last gen games anymore. Every generation, I abandon the old one as soon as the new one comes out.

  5. This is the golden year for sure. It's still a very good console and now the games will be dropping in price quite rapidly.

  7. Gta v was the last epic game.

A good way to close a gen.

    @ BizzaroMantis

The 360 is a great console; I would argue in fact, still better than the one, but that is a discussion for another forum (though the people there hate to hear that Golden age for the 360? :p )

  9. GreyMittens, you are trying to open a can of worms. lol Well if being a better console means less headaches, easier game chat, less unnecessary bells and whistles and a wide assortment of games that are rapidly declining in price, then it IS! But, I think
that once the X1 is updated with some fixes and gets more games, it will eventually be the better console, but for now...nope.

  10. I sure aint jumping on the next-gen train. Well maybe Wii U, but thats anther story. Theres jsut too many games for the 360 and PS3 for me to paly plus upcoming ones(Persona 5!). Although I doubt we will ever seen anything as good as the PS2 heyday.

  11. Well as so many great games are really cheap due to them just being old it's probably the best time to own a 360 ever, especially if you never have before.

I've really been enjoying jumping between the two consoles as it's pretty much doubled my gaming choice. I'm just starting to really dislike the 360 controller though, compared to the X1.

  12. I have made the jump to the X1 and while it does need some tweaks, it is one awesome console. I went back to try and play games on my 360 and had a hard time due to how much better the graphics looked on the One in comparison to the 360. Once the few little
annoyances (and they are very little in my opinion) the console will be rocking even more. It took a year or so for the game library for the 360 before it started to really kick butt. Still I am impressed what I have seen so far with the X1.

Dont praise the Xbox One, some dont like when you do that.

To me the Golden Age of the 360 was when I first got my 360 in 2007. Gears, Rainbow 6, Ghost Recon, Modern Warfare, Kane and Lynch and Stranglehold were such awesome games. Hard to say any year was better, but thats just my opinion.

    Please don't take offence...

...But if the X1 is so awesome why don't you have a single X1 Game in your activity feed?

Plenty of XBL Arcade Cartoon Games, Old COD's and Dancing with Kinect though.
