Gold Trial Redeem not working

My xbox one keeps refusing m xbox gold 2 day trial i got with titanfall, it says "you already have gold share this with a friend" but i dont have xbox live gold

Please help

Code error

bought my son plants vs. zombies for Xbox 1. It comes with a code to redeem 2 day trial Xbox live gold. The code is not working. Can you help?

Xbox Live Code - Trial

I have a 14 Day Trial up for grabs if anyone wants it, same rules as DR K as above.
1 Thing I should mention though is I tried to redeem it when my Live had ran out and would not redeem due to me already having a Gold previously so I believe the 14 day trials that come with the x1 are for Gamertags that have never had Gold.

Your gamertag on the website here shows that you do have a Gold membership. This will be the reason you cannot use the trial. Trials cannot be stacked with an existing membership.

You can track you current membership and when it will end at the following link.

whenever I try play a game on xbox one like park on 2k15 it tells me I have no gold membership :/

Sorry to hear it. Please try heading over to Settings>Network and run a Network Test to see if that helps. If it doesn't then try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down and unplug everything for 5 minutes.-

The trials only work on silver accounts. They only work as a trial and as you already have gold it will not redeem

I don't know if anyone else already posted the solution to this, but a friend had the same issue with the same error. The problem was, he was trying to redeem a code over a trial gold. Live Gold and Gold Trial, doesn't mix up, that's why the solution is
to let the gold subsciption end and then redeem the code. So if you have a Live Gold and try to redeem a Trial code (like the one included with the xbox) or the other way around, it won't work.

When you redeem a Gold Trial or any membership, it will only work for the account you redeemed it to. Not any other accounts on the Xbox. For your wife to play, you would have to get a trial or membership and redeem it to her account. Hope this helped, and

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to get your trial code redeemed.

You should be able to redeem the trial code anywhere you can redeem a regular subscription code (online, or through consoles). However I just wanted to add that it's important to note that trials will not work if you have already had a subscription to Live
ever before.

Gold trials can be used on any account that does not actively have a gold subscription. It does not matter if you have previously had gold or a trial.

Are you about this? From memory, when I tried redeeming a 14 day trial it didn't work for me. It's the same for Game Pass as well.
