Gold trial membership not working

Hi there,

I bought a new Xbox One an used my outlook adress to create a profile. When doing it I was offered the 1-month trial and I inserted my billing details. Since then, I haven´t been able to play online with any game...

I received the billing email (on 1st of June charging
£0.00) and in my subscriptions site for my microsoft account it says my gold will renew on the 1st of July. On the other side, my Xbox purchase history appears blank.

I would like to have a Gold service but it is not working, and if this trial gives this result I obviously don´t want tto pay for it (when probably it will give my the same result again)...

Please, Support Team, could you indicate me how to fix this? This is a bit irritating as initial experience with my Xbox One...

Bought console with 14day live gold trial which never worked. Known issue affects so many.

What do you mean by the trial not working?

Trials do not give you a full gold membership,they only give you limited access to some xbox live gold features & a lot of games will not let you play online with a trial.

A lot of people do not realise this & think that the trial is not working when in fact it is.

You need to contact support using the link if you get it sorted you'd be better off cancelling automatic renewal as you can Xbox live cheaper elsewhere I use CD Keys for my Xbox live

I´m trying to start a chat, but when I have to insert my first and last name the field appears in grey and I can´t modify it, so I cannot start the chat XD. I have tried two computers, 3 browsers, and also the xbox´s browser and I find the same problem.
Any idea about how to fix this?

You need a full Gold membership to download the Games with Gold games. A trial membership will not work for that.

Unfortunately it is intended that Trials do not stack
with existing memberships. It's also mentioned on the support page Xbox Live Gold trial memberships

Notes

The Xbox Live Gold trial membership is associated with a single gamertag.

You can't add an Xbox Live Gold trial membership to an existing membership.

Only three trial accounts are available per console. This limitation cannot be reset.

After a user has created three trial accounts on their console, the user no longer receives a message that provides the opportunity to create an Xbox Live Gold trial account.

To sign up for the Xbox Live Gold trial membership, you must add a payment method to your account.

This also works in a vice versa way meaning that if you have a trial membership it will be lost if you purchase a gold membership

Well first thing is 14day trials arent actually gold membership and if you are trying to get games for gold it wont work

In order to get full gold membership you actually need a paid membership

14day trials only work for basic multiplayer and some options but usually only the game it was purchased with

as gold memberships overwrite trial memberships to give you the full gold membership
