    Gold trial doesn't work?


    I've run out of xbl gold and had a 7 day code. I entered the code, the system recognized the code as valid and I confirmed the process. Under subscriptions it says I have gold until the 29th. I cannot access multiplayer or party chat. The only thing
    that seems to work is "games with gold." This isn't how trials worked in the past for me, did they get nerfed? Also I have reset my everything and relogged a dozen times, fyi....

    i just subscribed to XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP 1 month trial. On Pc in my microsft account i can see my subscription but not on console.

    When you claim the free trial month with gold from your console it doesn't appears for the trial membership doesn't offers all the perks of a paid gold membership.

    A trial doesn't count as Gold Membership. You get access to some Gold features is all.

    Trials will work with any account that does not have gold. It doesn't matter if you've previous had gold or not.

    @FunkyForestFrog - Trials will work on any account that does not currently have gold. It doesn't matter if you've ever had gold before.

    Well it's working as intended

    What game are you trying to use it on?

    Destiny well if you read the box

    You actually need gold for that game and it doesn't work on trials

    Fyi trial codes don't change your status to gold you need actual gold for full benefits

    Trial codes only allow temporary non ranked access to multiplayer games

    and does not give you gold

    Try the games you bought it with

    it only works on a limited number of games and only in certain modes

    Trials do not come with destiny
