    Gold to Game Pass


    I renewed my gold subscription in January for the year. In December I had subscribed to one of the special $1 deals for game pass. When that deal ended, I was charged $15 for game pass, so I cancelled it thinking I would still have gold.

    Despite having paid for the full year, I no longer have gold. Does this mean I have to buy gold again? Is this a mistake?

    The math is not in my favor right now.

    December: $1 game pass (gold from previous year subscription)

    January: $60 for gold + 1 for game pass

    February: $1 for game pass

    March: $15

    April: No more gold or game pass

    Is my math or allotment wrong somehow?

    I really wish I could just call and hash it out but theyve been unavailable every time I try and it's beyond frustrating. I've paid for gold by year since I was like 16. If I had known this was going to be so messy I would never have tried game pass.

    Gold does not come with Game Pass and Game Pass does not come with gold.

    If you look to the right of where it says "Enjoy the benefits of Gold and Game Pass" it's to get you to check out Ultimate Game Pass which is a subscription that does include both gold and game pass as well as game pass for PC.

    There's no such thing as "Gold Game Pass". Did you purchase Gold or Game Pass? If you only have a Gold subscription, then you do not have Game Pass.

    It depends on if you bought Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate. Regular Game Pass would be separate from Gold. Game Pass Ultimate includes Gold. So if you buy Ultimate while already having Gold, your Gold is converted to Ultimate.

    Do you have standard Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate? Gold is needed to play online. Gold is included with Game Pass Ultimate, but not standard Game Pass. So if you only have Game Pass, you either need to add Gold or upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate.

    Is it asking for just Game Pass or Gold/Game Pass Ultimate? The game is an online only game so it requires a Gold subscription to play it. Game Pass Ultimate includes Gold or you can buy just a Gold subscription.
