    Gold Subscription Purchase


    This is the payment option screen in the current version of the Xbox one interface. There are two choices. One of which is my account balance. I have been reading around and i have found that we are not able to purchase live memberships with Microsoft
    funds. However the option is still there. Does this mean we can hope to see this feature implemented in later updates? If so how long? And if we can't use it why have it as an option?

    Hi there

    If i purchase a game at a reduced rate because i have a gold account
    When i cancel my gold subscription do i lose the game
    I appreciate that happens with the free monthly game

    You need to purchase a gold subscription. A gold subscription is required to play online multiplayer.

    Purchasing XBOX Gold Subscription.

    Gold can only be purchased with a credit card/paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold subscription card. The currency system is not set up to be used to purchase a gold subscription.

    Sorry, but it is not possible to use currency on your account to purchase a gold subscription. Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold subscription card in store.

    Gold can only be purchased using a credit card/Paypal or by purchase a prepaid gold subscription card in a store. It is not possible to use currency from your account to purchase a gold subscription.

    Game pass ultimate includes gold and the game pass subscription so if you have the gold and purchase the ultimate subscription it will cancel the gold subscription and put it in with the ultimate. The Gold subscription will show as being cancelled in your
    subscriptions.
