Gold subscription not working?

I have a monthly Gold subscription which is active (checked over and over again, it's paid and everything), yet I can't download any Games with Gold, and I can't play my previously downloaded GwG either. I can still play Overwatch online, however. I've power-cycled
the console and re-downloaded my profile. Any solutions?

Wait so you get 2 free games every month even if you stop paying for Gold??

Yeah, unless something has changed recently, you get to keep your Xbox 360 gold games.

But the Xbox One gold games you need to have an active subscription.

It's still not working. The games I'm having issues with are all Games with GOld games I've downloaded previously, like Murdered: Soul Suspect and Hand of Fate. Currently downloading others to see if they work.

Looking at your
Xbox.com profile, I can see that you were recently able to play Murdered: Soul Suspect and
Hand of Fate. Are you running into any other issues with any other games in particular? Or did the problem magically resolve itself?

If you still have issues, can you describe your problem more specifically for us? Like, what happens when you try to download the games? Do you get an error message and/or code? Are the games just not showing up in your Ready to Install? Having more specifics
will help us try to figure out what is going on here. Keep us posted!

 

I can't actually play them, though--I can download games I got through GwG fine, but trying to play them results in an error message saying "Make sure your subscription is active." Further, I can't download newer games, like this month's Project Cars for
example. My subscription is active, though; I can still play online games like Overwatch.

 

Gotcha. That sounds like something is going on with your account for some reason. You can try

removing/re-adding your profile to your console to see if that helps. If not, you'll want to reach out to
phone or chat support and ask them to take a look at your account. We're public facing so we can't dig into that too much on our end.
