    Gold sub. cancelled, no refund yet


    Hi my xBox Live Gold subscription renewed itself without me know thus costing me 80$ CAN. I went trough all the steps to cancel a subscription and get a refund. Has it only been a few hours since they took 80$ from me only telling
    me when it was done I assumed there was going to be no problems and only a simple and quick solution. They told me that I indeed canceled my subscription successfully and that an 80$ refund was going to be en route, but they didn't specify if it was going
    to be put back in my bank account or will it come to me as an xBox credit or something by giving me 80$ of xBox money to spend only in THEIR freaking store... I'm currently fighting to download a system update on my xBox One so any information on my situation
    would be greatly appreciated.

    If it happened to one of you please tell me how long it took for the money to get back in the right place and do I need to do anything else but wait ?

    Taking out Gold after i had cancelled weeks ago!

    Microsoft yesterday seemed to think its a good idea to take out a months GOLD membership after i had cancelled the service weeks ago.

    The absolute worst part is that contacting them about this has been a nightmare and i've gotten nowhere, Today i went on the subs and cancelled it yet again. but yet Microsoft seem to have something where if you cancel your membership, they'll not only "Cancel"
    (Psh, yeah right) your sub, they'll cut it short three weeks. Not happy at all.

    I want my money back, and you can keep your subscription, i haven't touched it.

    Account Issue

    I have a problem. Today I signed up for a one month gold subscription. When I went online to cancel the auto renewal--and the auto renewal only!--I got an email stating my entire subscription was cancelled. Of course, Microsoft has still charged my credit
    card for the one month gold account. Please either refund my money or, better yet, give me what I paid for and want, a one month gold account with no auto renewing options!

    just a note please check commerce.microsoft.com to see if the refund was issued if so then you need to wait till your bank processes it

    3-90business days depending. On where you live in the world

    Anything other then the us will take 30-90days

    support.xbox.com/.../cancel-xbox-live-gold-subscription

    Just turn off auto renew Ghostmajic, and your account will revert to silver when the current sub runs out.

    If you want instant cancellation, you have to call support.

    Cancelling your sub mid term will not get you a refund on remaining time, but you will lose all gold access.

    Why bother having a customer support phone number if you can't ever get through to a real person

    Hi, this reply is entirely unhelpful and a waste of your time. There is no option to request a refund and the sub does not appear in my subscriptions. It suggests that it will automatically ask you if you want a refund upon cancellation yet that option never came up nor will it allow me to request a refund in any way. I've tried this 3 times and it always says to go to the subscription tab in my account and there is no sub there as it was cancelled.
