Gold status not fully reflecting on xbox one console

Hello,

I paid for gold through my xbox one console but still doesn't recognize that I am a gold member.

I can apparently play games online but can't redeem games with gold unless I go through the market place site using a pc.

I've deleted my profile and re-downloaded severally but doesn't work.

Any ideas anyone?

I've had gold renew it self for three years now but just this year it couldn't renew since my credit card didn't work, so I decided to wait to change my credit card and when I finally was about to it wouldn't let me. I called Xbox Support and they couldn't
figure it out so they just gave me a month free of gold. Everything would be fine if it didn't say "Join now and start saving" in the bottom right of the screen. I can play online but I can't get games with gold, and I can't get deals with gold. Do someone
know how to fix this?

I believe your gold has to fully run out before you can use a new creditcard to purchase it

Also, you should update your live status to reflect this issue as of now it says Twitch is fully functional which it isn't.

To provide more specifics to WPAK's answer, my console's home screen eventually updated to reflect gold status, but it took at least 18 hours. I'd say give it 18-24 hours to let a gold subscription from a prepaid card populate across the system?

Let's be real though, this is/was a bug. I activated gold from that console, whatever Microsoft is pushing out to my system should reflect my current status.
