    Gold sharing problem


    I’m having this problem where my roommate stays up all night playing call of duty on my Xbox talking to his friends on his account and on top of that he isn’t even paying for live. How can I turn off the gold sharing feature so he can’t stay up all night
    playing anymore. If you’re gonna suggest just try talking to him I’ve already tried that.

    You may want to sign into your friends account on your Xbox One and go to -

    Settings > Personalization > My Home Xbox > See if it says Make this My home Xbox (meaning his profile is set as the home console on another Xbox) or This isn't my home Xbox (meaning that his profile is set as the home console on your Xbox)

    You would have to turn off the Home setting on that console.

    I've had this problem to were my home Xbox would share gold to other accounts. I changed the home Xbox recently and waited a day and the issues cleared up. Gold was shared.

    Just make sure that your son does still have gold and hasn't changed his home Xbox.
