    Gold sharing on home Xbox gone?


    I have an Xbox one at my parents house. This is set as my Home console. My dad has his account on it as well (and it is set as HIS home console too)

    I could use his Gold before on that console and other consoles, but now I no longer can. Multiplayer doesn't work at all and I am asked to check my privileges. I checked and my dad has an active gold subscription and it IS set as his home console.

    How can this be fixed?

    Xbox one family gold sharing not working with xbox Fitness app?

    Microsoft canceled Family GOLD sharing package last year. And replaced it on XBOX ONE with HOME GOLD. Which allows everyone on your home console use your Xbox Live GOLD. All you need to do for this is just go to settings and make your Xbox One console as
    Home console.

    My suggestion is that you make your son's profile the home Xbox. The account that has no gold should be set to home inorder to share the subscription.
    No. The account with gold has to be the one to set the console as their Home in order to share. The account without gold setting the console as his Home would not effect sharing of the gold account.

    If you set your Sons Xbox at school as your accounts Home xbox you should be able to share gold with him however gold sharing on your own xbox would stop working
