Gold sharing not working as wife cant join a party.

If I'm understanding this correctly, the Xbox One X is set as the primary console for your account, whereas before the Xbox One was. I am assuming that your wife is using the Xbox One to play. Unfortunately, in order for her to have access to Xbox Live Gold
features without purchasing them for her account, she will need to play on the primary console. Otherwise, you will find yourself unable to both play simultaneously due to having to be logged in for her to play.

Here is what you can do since there can only be one primary console:

1. Set the Xbox One as the primary console so that you and your wife both can enjoy the benefits of Xbox Live Gold without having to purchase two monthly subscriptions.

2. Take turns using Xbox Live Gold, and in turn, the account that has made the purchase, since you will have to be logged in.

3. Reach out to Xbox Support as there may be an issue with either the billing, Xbox Live Gold, or the consoles themselves.

Make sure that your own account does have an active Gold membership. If it doesn't, the Home Console can't share your Gold to your wife.

Also be aware that your wife is only able to participate in Parties and Online multiplayer with your shared Gold membership. Her account does not become a full gold member. So she will not get the free Games with Gold, nor does she benefit from the special
Gold deals. You are sharing Gold to a console, not an account. So the console can only allow players to participate in Multiplayer matches and Party chat.

And just to be 100% sure: Check that you haven't accidentally changed the Home Console to a different console.

Sign in with your account to your wife's console, and check that it's still set as your Home Console.

Are you doing it on a xbox 360?.

If so.you cant join parties or have gold benefits like games with gokd

Its on xbox360 . It's also a 14 day trial btw i missed that. Before i was able to play the games and join a party, when i had another 14 day trial. Now i cant do anything
