Gold sharing has stopped working

Heya!

Are you seeing any error messages when you try to play online? Are you seeing this happen with all games you own?

Let's try resetting your console to see if maybe some info is stuck trying to transfer between your accounts.

1. power down the console.

2. unplug the console, router and modem for about 5 minutes.

3. plug everything back in and power on the console.

4. sign in and attempt to play an online game.

If you still run into the same issue can you send us a video of what happens?

Gold Sharing will only work if your Son is signed into your HOME xbox.

If you set your Sons Xbox at school as your accounts Home xbox you should be able to share gold with him however gold sharing on your own xbox would stop working

Are you using a GOLD account that is shared, it could be the owner of the GOLD Account has been suspended and the GOLD will stop working.

Also check your email if you have GOLD on your account, you should have received an email confirming the ban and the time when it will be removed.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this issue with the gold no longer working on your console, have you checked with your brother to make sure they didn't switch their home console to a different console? If you are unsure if they have
or have not switched their home console, you will need to confirm it with your brother. You may also want to try
Power Cycling your console as another solution.
