Gold Sharing doesnt work

Are you using the correct Xbox account (with the active Gold subscription) to designate the Xbox console as "Home"?

What steps have you tried to set up Gold sharing, and what kind of errors do you encounter?

I think extended is wrong.

The true and first meaning of the account/game sharing was to a house share like 2 brothers with 2 consoles and for the parents doesnt need to buy 2 xbox live golds or 2 games. And not to people share with all their friends.

Doesnt mix the family settings with account sharing on Xbox, is not the same thing and not the same end.

Hi, sorry for the misconception, he does own gamepass ultimate. We have been sharing it across the console, before i did a soft hard reset. the gamepass part of it worked. but the live gold doesnt, ill check tomorrow, but i think it wont work.

As stated if you stopped sharing you would no longer have access to any of those games anyway as the license is owned by your brother. Sadly gold doesnt support sharing free games.

I wish sharing was much more easier. At the end of the day they would lose out on money. We've come a long way though. At least everyone doesnt have to have their own gold account now we can share it!
