    Gold Question

    I'm currently running on a year gold membership which paid by card with no problem.

    Recently i was given a 12 month gold membership card as a gift, and i was curious, if i put this onto my account would my subscription continue without being charged till the time runs out, or will i be charged after my current 12 months rendering my card
    useless and pointless?

    Any answer will be helpful as i have had problems in the past with a similar problem in which i had a 12 month card ready to renew my account, yet i couldnt renew with it cos i got banned as my card expired and the only way to get unbanned was to pay by
    card which was a major hassle as i spent money on a card which i didnt use.

    An answer would be grateful for these.

    If you're using a 360, both accounts would need gold

    If you're using a One, you would only need to purchase it once and share the gold using the Home setting.

    This would not be the right forum to post that question, however, yes you can stack gold subscription purchases. I believe you can stack up to 3 years of gold.

    Just make sure to include the word "Australia" when searching.

    FYI, sometimes when I find a GREAT deal on XBL Gold subscriptions, I purchase and activate them. It is well worth the investment when you could be saving 20 or even 30 dollars.

    Yes, and of course.

    They never overlap each other, but just added the months to your current subscription.

    Which means you never waste them no matter you when you do redemption.

    Never need to wait for it expire first, they just accumulate.
