Gold pass vs Ultimate

Hi

I have 12 months of gold subscription on xbox and i got a new code of ultimate for 3 months which i wanted to redeem ut I noticed that if I redeem it my gold pass subs will be reduced to 4 months and instead ultimate will be activated. It will also add new
ultimate pass of 3 months. So tota will be around 7 months.

I believe this is not a fair deal. I don't want to convert gold into ultimate and loss months worth of playing. Can you either

1- Give me a code for gold and replace my platinum code so that I get total 15 months of play period

or

2- keep 12 gold months +3 months of platinum
