Gold offer for my new xbox one s purchsed - no multiplayer?

Hi. I just bought a new XBox One S and purchased the offered 1 Month XBOX Live Gold offer for 1,- € (instead of 6,99- €).

So downloaded e.g. FortNite but cannot play it. It says i need XBOX Live Gold Member status.

So what did i bought?

My new xbox one s keeps switching off

my new Xbox one S randomly powers down for no reason. The power strip is brand new. I also tried switching off the auto power off setting and no luck. No overheating

 

Cant play purchased content on other gamertag.

So, me and my brother share an Xbox, and in the past I have purchsed DLC and games on my gamertag, and he could play my games and DLC. But our Xbox broke and we had to get a new one (3 times) and he can no loger play on my games and DLC. Can you not do this
anymore?

 

Did you enter the code from the 1 month trial for Xbox Live Gold?

 

So found out the 1 month discount xbox live package offer was only for "free games" not for the multiplayer option. Thanks microsoft. Now they got my 1 € plus my 6,99 €, so 7,99€ for one month ...

 

Ok, now its getting better. So i now see i got 2 month xbox live. So for now all good. Strange the 1€ XBOX Live Gold was not able to let me go online gaming. The 1€ + 6,99€ ist just working fine. Hopeing it will be working for 2 Month

 

XBL can be slow updating at times.

Sometimes when you enter a code for a subscription, etc, it might not immediately show up on your account and can take upto 24 hours.
