    I've just bought a "gold" pack for my son and has receved the confirmation e-mail but when he wants to play online it says This profil isn't authorized to play on Xbok live

    What's the pb?

    I just purchased a Gold subscription for xbox live. But when I try to log on to MW3 using xbox live, I get an error message that says this profile is not authorized to play xbox live. How do I authorize the account?

    I know this is a month old thread, but I'm experiencing the same problem as the OP. Funny enough, my game is installed to the HDD. The game worked fine for a couple of days then started bringing up this message today, I only bought GRFS recently, the disc
    is fine no damage or marks whatsoever. The Xbox is in good condition and all other games run perfectly on it.

    I've searched all over for this problem and the only place I could find is here. As the OP mentioned, Google is full of modding sites when searching for this specific problem. Nothing is listed on the support page on here either.

    Sounds like it could be your DVD drive. You can try cleaning the lense and see if that fixes it. If not you'll have to get it serviced.

    Hmm...? That's strange that it would work better on a older Xbox rather than new. Well anyway, after I tried out one of the fixes, the game actually worked for longer than two days without that annoying message! Then I got it again the other day. I'll have
    to give MS Support a ring about this, it's just very tedious explaining a problem on the phone that's not very well known. I don't want to give up on this game cause I really enjoy it, it's just a shame that an annoying crash like this can ruin the experience.

    I hope some of them fixes have worked for you dunkaroo69, and no problem for posting :)
