    Hello everyone, I redeemed a 12 month Gold Membership, but I can't play multiplayer. Even though it says I have Gold Subscription. Please help!

    My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

    Yep been having the same problem for 12 hours. I have restarted my console 20 times. I've left it unplugged from the wall for upto an hour 3 times. Logged out and logged back in atleast 30 times, but STILL even thou subscription says I have xbox live
    gold I can't play online.

    Gold Membership

    Try removing your account from your xbox. Support told me to do that and when once I re-added my account, i was able to play online again.

    I'm having the same problem. Spent quite awhile online with chat support folks - they were very nice and we tried everything that's been mentioned here but we were not able to fix the problem yet. I'm now in email communication with them - they say they
    have escalated it but haven't heard back yet from next level. I'll report back here when I hear something.
