Gold membership was activated on Xbox One but not on Xbox 360?

So I entered a code on my Xbox One to activate Gold but and I can now access Gold features on my Xbox One, but when I signed into my 360 it still says that I have to become a Gold member. How do I get Gold to work on both consoles?

you told, that you have activated a 12 month gold membership. Have you activated it with the same account, you are logged in here? Your account here seems to be silver only. Did you use your account logged in here for playing on the Xbox One?

It's quite simple from the way they have explained it. 1 Xbox Live Gold Membership is required for anyone on a singular (1) Xbox One console. Your master account can only be active on 1 Xbox One at a time.

So unfortunately, if you plan on getting 3 Xbox One's and you wish for people to be able to simultaneously play on Xbox LIVE on all of them you'll need to get 3 Gold Memberships (one for each Xbox One). Once that's actually activated, you can have a multitude
of people play on the console online and anyone that signs into that console (gold member or not) will have a gold membership activated while they are on that console.

 

If this is the account you're using, you don't show as having gold here. Did you activate it on a different account and are sharing the gold on your console? As long as you're signed into the same account on both consoles you would have gold.

 

Perhaps you were using a promotional code intended for the xbox one, like a trial from an xbox one game. If you bought xbox live gold there are no limitations to were you can access xbox live gold features.

Three months ago i bought a 12-MONTHS CODE, worth 40 USD, i (i think, i dont know the exact exchange value from my currency to USD), so neither promotional or trial, right?), in a videogame/tech shop of a renowned franchise (at least in my country

and yesterday i found out about this problem too, when i had downloaded a 360 game on One and i was trying to play on multiplayer IN the game.

Besides, i still have a working 360, and i tried deleting and re-downloading my profile on that several times, and i'll end by saying that I have ONLY MY PROFILE DOWNLOADED on my XBOX ONE (and that s the same i m using now and here), so NO sharing gold
issues here.

Still, the problem remains.
