Gold Membership Tenure Is Incorrect

Hi my gold membership tenure has been showing as 6 years since august 2014 i have had gold membership since 12/10/2008 continuously no gaps or breaks always renewed the month befor it was due so it should be on at least 7 years nearly 8 years can someone
look into this for me?

No. Gold Membership on the XBox LIVE Tenure is only counted when you are on an Active Gold Membership Subscription. For example, you would have had to have bought and or used 2 Years worth of Gold Membership to get an Xbox LIVE Tenure of 2 Years. You will
not have a Tenure on your Gamercard.

 

Did I lose my tenure?

I also am still showing incorrect tenure years. I did all recommended steps with no success. I have been a Gold member since day one release date of the 360. However my tenure shows 8. I may be wrong but even reading how tenure years are accrued, I should
still be showing 10. With this November bringing me to 11. I have had no lapses in Gold membership status since 2004.

If you used any 1-month cards it may have lapsed during your time on Xbox Live. There isn't a way to force your tenure to show correctly, but it should update to the correct tenure after some time so long as you keep your Xbox Live Gold subscription up to
date.

i only purchase 12 month cards i was given a free 1 month from microsoft earlier this year but it has not changed since august 2014 when it changed to six years, the problem is on microsofts end.
