So I tried to play some battlefield 4 today but when I booted it up I was told that I needed a gold membership to play online. I thought this was funny because I thought I renewed my membership about a month ago, but oh well. So I try to renew my membership
and put in my new credit card info since I've gotten a new one since the last time I bought gold but I was given the messenge "Sorry, that's as many as you can have. Only a limited number of these are allowed on any one account." I thought this was funny
so I tried checking my account out online and it turns out I did renew my subscription about a month ago. Why am I being told I don't have gold?!

Please Help me My membership wont renew

I usually buy the monthly membership for 9.99 but today when i tried to turn it back on it stated the follow:

"Sorry, that's as many as you can have

Only a limited number of these are allowed on any one account."

I'm paying for the membership so I would like to know why I have a limited number of these.

That is some server glitch of the publisher for other players get that once in a while. Hard reset should do the trick:

To perform a hard reset, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on. The system will turn off. When you hit the button again, it will start and display the green start-up screen. All your data is preserved, but cache is cleared and some
settings are reverted and log-in or game start issues are resolved.

Sorry to hear it. Right now it looks as though you only have a Silver membership. Perhaps you have already added a trial membership on your account. Trials only offer limited access to Gold features and are usually limited to the game that they came with.

You can check your membership status at commerce.microsoft.com

Hello I have the same problem. When i try to pay for xbox live gold it says "Sorry, that's as many as you can have

only a limited number of these are allowed on any one account." So I can't get any gold features please help me out

As people here have stated, one home console per gold membership and others can use that same xbox to enjoy your benefits of gold, but only on your Home Xbox. Also you are limited to the number of times you can change your Home Xbox. That number resets
every year.
