Gold Membership / Profiles / Account

I am currently a gold member and would like to either create a new profile with the same account or wipe everything from the current account and start with fresh settings. I can't seem to find where I can do this at. I refuse
to pay for an additional gold membership when I want to just start fresh with the same name or create another profile.

No she doesn't need her own profile or gold membership, she just signs in as a guest while logged into your account.

My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

The only way you could create a new account with the same name is to change the name of that account for $10 , which seems unnecessary. Why do you want to "wipe" your account? What do you need changed?

Basically my profile has been used by several family members and friends. I would like to start fresh with just myself using the account. I am finding it very difficult or impossible to reset my profile to new. I thought maybe I could just transfer my
Live account to another profile (newly created), but that doesn't seem to be possible either. So is my only choice to cancel my live subscription (I pay monthly) and just start new?

You could create a new account and when you're ready to cancel your live subscription on this account, call support, explain the situation, and they'll give you a token for the amount remaining so you won't have to pay again for the first month on your new
account.

RedneckBiker, to sort of clarify what Springer told you: each account that is currently part of your gold family pack (ie, your profile, a child's profile if it shares gold, etc) will be removed from Family Gold and will have it's own standard gold membership.
These separate memberships will be set to have the exact amount of remaining gold that your family pack curently has. Each of these accounts will then be given an additional 3 months of gold. As Springer pointed out, once the gold expkres on these accounts,
if you wish for the profiles to continue having gold, you will need an individual gold membership for each account that you wish to have gold status.

if you added a gold membership to your account only you can use it. for other profiles to use a gold membership that gamertag must be signed in and then payment or prepaid card can be used to activate gold.

Unfortunately, the simple answer is no. Two (or more) profiles cannot be configured to share the same Xbox live profile.

If you want both profiles to enjoy the rewards of Gold membership, you may want to shop around for a deal. Depending on what you want from a Gold Xbox Live account (paid account) - for example, connecting to Film or Music Applications) you may be able to
share one account on a Gold Membership.

the gold subscription was paid for and used on my account. there are other profiles on my xbox one. but they dont share the gold membership

If you have tied up with a Family Pack with your friends your gold membership will be transferred to the Primary account and have the gold membership shared to other profiles. If you promote your account and unlink your account you will be back to silver
or free account.

You can ask your friend to accept you back to the Family Pack for you to have gold membership.
