Gold membership not working (FOR THE SECOND TIME!!!)

Hi,

I first bought my one-year Xbox Live Gold membership about 12 days ago, and it worked fine until yesterday. I went to Xbox support and chatted with someone for an hour trying various things to fix my problem. Nothing worked so in the end, the person cancelled
my Gold subscription, so I got a refund to buy it again, which I did.

Worked fine this morning, and now less than a day after buying the Gold subscription again, it doesn't work anymore! In my console settings, it says I don't have a Gold subscription, even though when I check billing.microsoft.com it's clearly written that
I bought the Gold membership, and that I have it until the 1st of November 2015.

Terrible programming by Microsoft or am I terribly unlucky? I'm thinking both...

If there is no way to fix this, I want a refund, not just for the Gold membership, but for the whole console.

New gold membership not working - redeemed code today

I redeemed a free trial and a 3 month membership for gold membership. Online it says I'm a gold member but it's not working on the console. We just installed xbox for the first time today. How can we get the console to recognize the new membership?

It's showing up as Gold here on the forums, it may just be the console has been a little slow to update.

Are you still able to play multiplayer games or not?

If not, could you try removing your profile from the console and then re-adding it to see if that fixes the issue?

Well when I click My Account on the Xbox website, it says I don't have any subscriptions (it displays "Buy Xbox Gold") and there are no transactions even though I bought Gold twice, and some Forza Horizon 2 DLC. All those show up on commerce.microsoft.com

I have restarted my Xbox a couple of times, which did nothing. Yesterday when my problems begun the support chat person told me to remove my profile, but that didn't work. I'll try again later, without much hope.

Yeah I'll do that. In the meantime, it's great to see that my Xbox has no problem remembering my credit card info, but forgets that I bought a one-year Gold membership. Just great.
