    Gold Membership not recognized


    Hello Support Team,

    I am trying to Play Forza 7 in Multiplayer, but everytime I try to load it from the game, it acts as if I dont have a Gold Membership and redirects me to buying Gold. This is totally annoying, as I have a one year Gold Membership, that is still valid until October
    this year.

    In both my XBox settings and my microsoft account Gold status shows up until Oct 2018.

    This is not a game issue, as in my Xbox dashboard I also always have the promotion tile "join gold" and I am getting strange hickups with Games with Gold (it first shows me that I should join Gold and then lets me download for free as its supposed to).

    I have already cleared cache and removed / readded my profile. Both to no avail. I have also tried on 3 different days now and my network works fine.

    Please fix this issue, as I am paying for a membership that I cannot use. Thank you.

  3. Gold Membership Not Recognized??

    I renewed my Xbox Gold subscription tonight, and even though the charge went through my PayPal and it says I am subscribed in my account, I cannot play any games! It keeps saying my Xbox Gold is expired when it isn't with error code 0x803f800b.

    If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. I have already tried signing in and out of my account. I have also done a hard reset on the console with no results.

    Gold Membership not recognized

    Hi there,

    please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

    If the subscription shows, try the following steps

    Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

    Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
    http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

    Redownload your profile

    If these steps fail, then its best to contact Xbox Support (via Phone or Microsoft Support Chat) at

    Issue with gold/xbox rewards

    Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, as stated in our FAQ:

    —My Xbox Live Rewards account is not recognizing my Xbox Live Gold membership. What should I do?

    Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership, we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member.

    Error in gold status

    We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:

    Not Recognizing Gold Membership?

    Hi D29TX,

    From the looks of your forum account, you're Xbox Live Gold which is great! Sorry you're having issues getting in the Gold Members section. Please try to do the following and let us know if you can see it.

    First, if you have your Xbox for quick start-up try to set it to "Energy Saving Mode" in the settings. Turn your Xbox off, then Turn your Xbox back on. The reboot will take longer.

    Second if that doesn't work. With your Xbox Powered on, please hold down the power button for about 10 seconds. Your Xbox should turn off very quickly. Leave it off for a couple minutes, then turn it back on.

    Third, if those solutions do not work, Unplug your Xbox from the wall for a few minutes. Plug is back in and test.

    Fourth, If that doesn't work. follow this link to remove your account from the Xbox. Your games should be saved on the cloud so no worries there. After
    you've removed your account download it again.

    If all those steps do not work I would suggest
