gold membership gives me errors

i have xbox live gold i dont know whats happening but when i try to play a game like overwatch it brings me to the xbox live gold purchase screen i exit out an i cant play overwatch and my gold membership is not canceled

My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

I don't have a 360 anymore, and don't have an Xbox One, but I would imagine that adding the account to console will automatically open up multiplayer to all users on the console.

Try this for me...

1. Go to settings, all settings, account, remove account... Be sure you know your password and email. Remove your profile.

2. Turn the Xbox off

3. Unplug the power cord from the outlet and the Xbox

4. Wait five minutes until the orange light goes completely out.

5. Plug in, turn on, reinstall your profile.

If that does not work, remove your profile unplug everything from the back of the Xbox. Wait 30 seconds and plug in in the following order...

1. HDMI out to tv

2. Plug and play (if you have one)

3. Any USB stuff such as external hard drive

4. Power cord

Then turn on and reinstall profile. Also go to account. Microsoft. Com and make sure your information is up to date under the security and privacy tab.
