    Gold Membership - 360 and One


    I have set up Gold Membership on my new Xbox One. Can it be shared/used on my old 360 as well or do I have to buy another membership?

    My son has a gold membership on his 360. I don't have a gold membership. If I add my son's profile to my new Xbox One, then it will give me gold membership as well?

    I don't have a 360 anymore, and don't have an Xbox One, but I would imagine that adding the account to console will automatically open up multiplayer to all users on the console.

    Your Gold membership can be used on an Xbox One and an Xbox 360 without any issue.

    Your gold membership is tied to your xbox live account. Therefore when you sign in, as the xbox live account holder on either system (any XBOX system actually) your gold membership carries over. However, you cannot be signed into two systems at the same
    time. If I had both my xbox 360 and my Xbox one on the same time, and tried to sign in on one while signed in on the other, it would sign me off on the other system.

    If you have multiple people wanting to play in the same household, they need their own xbox live account and their own membership.

    On the 360 you need a gold membership for each individual account.

    If you have an xbox one you only need one gold account per console,then every other account on that console gets gold free as part of your membership.

    you can use your xbox one gold membership on your 360 also, but any one else on the 360 will need to buy their own gold time.

    Your gold membership for your 360 is the same one for the ONE. Your account transfers, as does your membership

    The Home Gold features are specifically for the Xbox One, they do not do anything for the Xbox 360. If your son wishes to use his Xbox 360 and play online he would need his own Xbox LIVE Gold membership. As far as the Home Gold is concerned anyone on that Xbox
    One that decides to play on it with their gamertag will have a gold membership automatically as your account has a gold membership, it would be shared with the whole console.

    You need to have an actual membership for 360 games with gold

    Home gold only works with Xbox one

    If 48hour trial then no that's not gold
    I have the gold membership on my account.

    Games With Gold works differently on the 360 than it does the One.

    On the 360 any Game With Gold that you get while you have a Gold membership is yours to keep so long as your gamertag has not been banned.

    On the One the games are yours to keep and play so long as you have an active Gold membership.
