gold live trial - does not show on console

Hello,

Today I obtained one month gold trial via web-site.

On microsoft account page in Services & Subscription I can see the Xbox Live subscription:

Xbox Live - subscription Xbox Live Gold - renews on 1/11/2016

But on my xbox one console, when I check account -> subscriptions -> I cannot see it - I just see "learn about Xbox live gold" and I can just purchase 1,6,12 months memberships.

I also cannot get current Gold games for free.

On console, I have only one account, and the console is set to home console, location is "Slovakia"

The account you're currently on does not show that it's an Xbox LIVE Gold member which is why you're getting this error message when you try to play online. If you received a trial offer when you made a new account you would have had to put in your billing
and payment information in order to activate that trial. You're given 3 x 1 month Xbox LIVE Gold trials when you purchase a new Xbox 360 console and these come up everytime you make a new account using the console itself, not Xbox.com.

Sorry to hear it. However, a trial will only give limited access to Live services and does not show as gold on your account. You will not be able to download games with gold nor play in any ranked type matches.

Trial memberships do not show up as real memberships, so your account won't appear as a Gold account. There may be some restrictions/limitations to trials.

I also do not believe that free Gold trials allow you to download Games with Gold titles.

 

DUUUDE I WANT TO PLAY THE GAME MULTIPLAYER !!! WITH TRIAL MEMBERSHIP, WHY CAN'T I!?!?!??! FIX YOUR GOD *** SERVICES!!!...sorry for my overreaction...

Look...it says that, when you acquire a XBOX LIVE GOLD Trial Membership, you can access online multiplayer sessions on any games you own, SO that means i can enjoy my online play without interruption until the Trial ends, and then i will have to purchase
a GOLD membership, that will eventually unlock my Free with GOLD games, which i'm not interested at the moment.

Yesterday i encountered the problem in Halo 5 while trying to connect to multiplayer, it sent me to Buy Gold Membership, even if i already have it...so there is a problem with the accounts or sync functionality...if possible, can you please inform us when
a fix will be applied, because it's getting frustrating...having a Gold Membership with everything ok in it and being unable to play online games.

I deleted the account from console, and re-downloaded it, went in-game, it started downloading sync data, error 0x80a40008 popped-up, as a sync error....problem still present...

 

Hey there mate,

On what region are you seeing your trial gold subscription? You might have availed the free trial under US region but then on your console, the locale of the console is set to a different region. Then that would definitely not sync your gold. Also, there
was actually an issue signing in so it might also be part of what you are experiencing. Do try it again this time and see if you still experience the same issue.

I just factory reset the console and re-downloaded my account, the error didn't popped-up when Sync was initiating, but when i loged-in, the "Buy GOLD offer" was on screen....so it didn't "fix" anything.

My account region is UK the same goes for the console.

 

i have gold until july 2016 and it says i still have to purchase xbox live when i go to invite players to parties and i cant get online lobbies
