Gold Live on two Xbox One consoles

very simple question (googled but see a variety of answers)...

My kids play fortnite, we have a single xbox one console with gold live, they want another xbox one for Christmas so they can play at the same time with each other. I refuse to pay for another xbox gold live account. Is it possible for them to play together
with different gamer tags but the same gold account on different consoles at the same time. Assume if yes we can also share the games they have purchased.

    Thanks!

    :)

Yeah, that's confirmation the system stays the same as now, you get two licenses with each digital copy, one for your home console, one for your Xbox Live profile.

Looking at buying two new 360s for my sons for Christmas Xbox Live Gold Question

It is true that in preparation for the Xbox One launch the family plan was discontinued and existing users were converted to standard LIVE Gold accounts. Reason being, the Xbox One is capable of enabling an Xbox LIVE Home Gold account instead. The Xbox
LIVE Home Gold service allows ANY profile that logs into your Xbox One console to have access to your live services. I see the dilemma for you is that you want two Xbox(s) for two children. If it is not possible for them to share an Xbox One, then you really
only have the option of purchasing two consoles and two standard LIVE Gold memberships. As for Netflix, if you only have one console and one LIVE Gold membership, you can only watch Netflix on that console. But, it you have two consoles and two LIVE Gold
memberships, you should be able to watch Netflix on each console, provided that Netflix allows more than one user to be logged into the same Netflix account from different "locations". Otherwise, you might need two Netflix memberships too. If my siblings
and I didn't want to share our Super Nintendo, my parents said "Tough dookie! Learn to share "your toys"". My, how times have changed. LOL

This would be a use for the My Home Xbox feature.
    https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/games/my-home-xbox

Although it's meant to be on one console with multiple users, it can technically be used in this situation in one house with 2 xboxes.

Here's how it works (this can get confusing because of the way you want to use this feature): There's account A and console A with the gold and games and account B and console B without gold and without the games.

    1. You log in on the account A with the gold and games you want to share on console B.

    2. Set that console as the "my home xbox" account (see link above).

    3. Log in on the account A on console A with that account that owns the gold and games and also log in on console B with account B and that account now has access to gold without having to pay for it again - being shared from account A's my home xbox.

    4. Some games may not be able to be played two times at a time with this feature, and you may need to purchase the game again on account B but the gold will share for sure with no problems.

Account with gold status for two consoles

I have an xbox 360 console, I plan to buy an xbox one s console, while continuing to use the xbox 360. Can I use an existing account on these two consoles?
Is it possible to use one gold status equally on two consoles?

    Response:

    Hi there,

a gold subscription is linked to the Xbox Live Account, which means that if you use the same Xbox Live Account on the Xbox One console then the gold subscription etc will be available, same for any other digitally owned games (that are supported
    on the Xbox One)

Can you have love for multiple accounts?

To share gold, the two accounts have to use the same console and that console has to be your(the gold subscriber) home console. The details of Home Gold sharing are located

    Xbox gold

Sure. If you get access with the profile where you bought xbox live gold on any console you have you can use that xbox live gold. You can share with a friend also using "This is my xbox home", a function that permit you to use your subscriptions like
xbox live gold (only one subscription for two people and two consoles) using two consoles in the same time (also with the same game)

Yes, two accounts or more can use one Xbox Live Gold on the same console.
