Gold isn't working

So I put in a 12 month gold after trying for about a month n recently I got a message saying my 1 month gold was cancelled but I didn't put 1 in! And now when I tried the 12 month gold it's telling me that's it's already been redeemed. What did you guys
do to my account?

removing your profile (please ensure you remember your account email and password before doing this step),

power cycling your Xbox One console and router/modem and then signing back in. Did that solve the issue?

Also, can you please let us know what region (country) your Xbox account is set to? Does it differ from the country you're physically living in? If so, this is likely the cause of the issue you're seeing with your Xbox Live Gold.

It happened to me too just change your country/region to where you are physically living otherwise it gets confused because say you set it to the USA but you actually live in Australia it gets confused and doesn't let you use gold

Thanks for confirming mate. If your other 'games with gold' games work fine, it's possible that this particular game wasn't included in your games with gold library/collection. It could be linked or acquired by your other account if you have multiple Microsoft accounts. If you have multiple accounts, I suggest that you check them one by one.
