gold games for x box 360?????

Hi just started a subscription to x box live but all the "free" games seem to be for x box1

Also I am actually failing to see what my £6.00

Am I right or just being a bit thick!!!!

X Box 360 games on X Box 1

I have Gold and I have downloaded a couple of X Box 360 games. My X Box 1 Control will not work with the X Box 360 games. Is there a way for this to work?

 

I can't download games with gold X Box One games in the Microsoft store page

Yes, I've gone to the website to download X Box One games to my library, but I cannot.

To clarify again, I don't have an X Box One console so I cannot install it. The message will say I don't have the required device.

I do have a one year gold membership, pre-paid card.

In the past, games with gold can allow me to add an X Box One game to my library even without an X Box One console. If I purchase an X Box One console, my free games with gold games will be in the library.

Now there is no option online to add the X Box One game to add to the account unless I own a X Box One console.

Hopefully, you can help further. If not, thanks for the reply anyways.

the current free games with gold for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One can be seen here:

Be aware that you need a paid xbox live gold subscription to allow you to download those for free.

What exactly is the issue with your £6.00, since I don't really understand the question.

The link that you have sent does not indicate any games for the x box 360... I am assuming that x box one games won't play on the 360... is that right?????

 

Currently the free game for the 360 is Halo Reach. It should be shown at the bottom of the page WPAK linked to you unless it's not available in your region.

You are correct that One games will not play on the 360 and vice versa.

Also, you are not showing as gold on the forums, so you may want to check
http://commerce.microsoft.com to make sure it shows your subscription.

I am a gold subscriber so not really sure what is going on???

You are only silver

If you are using a 14day trial it doesn't count you must have a paid membership

Are you using the same account on the console and on here? Since your account here in the forums shows up as silver. The demo is just like I'd called a demo, so it isn't the full game.

What exactly does it show at subscriptions at the link mentioned by Smwutches?

 

October's free games with gold will be Battlefield Bad Company 2 from the 1st to the 15th and Darksiders 2 from the 16th to the 31st.

As for your Gold membership, as mentioned above you are not currently showing as Gold so would not get the offer.

If you added your membership on the website it can take a while for it to populate your account. To speed this up, on the console go to Settings>System>Network and run a Connection Test. This will log you out. When it is done you can log back in and should
show as Gold with all the privileges that it entails.

Now my second question if anyone can help..

I have tried to access other apparent perks of being a gold member ie national geographic tv channel for children and Netflix; Am I right in thinking that these are not free and need to be subscribed to even as a gold member

That's good to hear you got it working etc. Your account does show as gold now in the forums too.

Regarding the second question.

Netflix will require a seperate subscription with Netflix, but it doens't require Gold anymore.

I don't know it for National Geograpic

 

National Geographic also requires a subscription to use the service.
