    Gold on 360 and One

    So basically buy the One gold account in your eldest's profile! Then he can gold on both machines and the rest of you can gold on the One.

    All gold features are available to all games and all profiles where a gold profile designates a XB1 console as it's home console. This includes multiplayer.

    It's different on the 360, and the op is right in saying gold privileges aren't available to other profiles on that console.

    Sorry to hear it. If the games require a payment option it's not specifically Visa. If you do not have a credit card you can set up a Paypal account and add that to your account. You can add extra payment options at account.microsoft.com

    Yes, gold can be used on a 360. Gold is used to play online multiplayer. Games with Gold have been discontinued for the 360 so you won't get free games for the 360 with a subscription.

    Note do not confuse what was there 2 years ago, today 'games with gold' is not on front page on Xbox 360

    Games with gold is on Xbox one.

    Being charged for what should be free.

    You aren't a gold member you are silver or free if you are part of home gold only the account with the gold can queue xbox 360 games with gold games or as home gold doesn't carry over to xbox 360

    If you used a trial codes that would be why

    Trial codes do not make you gold or access to games with gold

    It only gives temporary multiplayer access

    If you are on a home gold console and trying to download a 360 game with gold

    Two things

    First only the master account on a home gold console can get games with gold on the website including 360 games

    As home gold only covers the console not 360
