    Gold features not working


    My gold subscription was updated today 10/07/17 however i can no longer access any gold features, when i check my account i am clearly subscribed. I have raised this in online support chat only to put through various trouble shooting
    procedures such as restarting my console, deleting my profile and performing a factory reset. As i had expected none of this worked and i was basically told there was nothing they could do. After attempting to start a new chat i was informed i could not do
    so for a further month as i updated my details (excellent feature btw). I then phoned xbox support, was on the phone for half an hour and again no progress was made on my problem, instead i was directed to these forums. The customer "service" adviser believes
    the problem lies with the my account being part of the xbox insider preview program and advised that i raise my concerns here. I would very much like to get this problem resolved as i am paying for a service i am not receiving.

    Xbox live gold features not working

    I have and Xbox live gold subscription and anything I try that requires a gold account does not work for me. It tells me I need a gold subscription. I have verified that my account is Gold and paid up to date. I have tried to turn my Xbox One off and then
    back on with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey there BMSchurr. Have you by chance tried to re-download your account? If not, please give that a go and let us know if that helps. Gold features not working :)

    The promo code will not ilupgrade your account to gold, but will allow you to access gold features. Only some not all such as games with gold will not work with trial codes.

    My Xbox Live 14 day trial does not work

    Trials are not a full xbox live gold membership & only give you limited access to some gold features.

    A lot of games will not let you use their online features with a trial membership or it will only work with the game it came with.

    Hey there,

    It looks like the account you're posting from is an Xbox Live Silver account. Is there an Xbox Live Gold account on your Xbox One console that was sharing the Gold privileges with your account? With the Xbox One Home feature, you can share Xbox Live Gold
    with any other account that is signed into that console, however that feature does not work on an Xbox 360 console, which is why you may notice that Gold features work on one console and not the other.

    Keep us posted if that helps clear up what the issue may be.
