    my console keeps reminding me to renew gold but my expirt date is september 2018. and the last games would not let me get them till i went to online account and got them that way.

    Upgrading Issue

    You cannot do that. Xbox Live Gold Membership trials have an expiry date as always.

    Xbox live gold subscription

    starts from date of activation, although I believe they do have an expiry date to be used by. gold does stack but gold trials do not.

    On your console go to settings, subscriptions and see when the expiry date for Gold is.

    I used my Bing points for 12 months live Xbox subscription reward but cannot redeem code I was given.

    If the code does expire, there should be an expiry date listed in the email somewhere that the code came in.

    It's been a while since I have gotten Xbox Live Gold with my Bing points (Yes, this is how I get my gold too) but I can't remember there being an expiry date, best to just double check that yourself.
