Gold Expiration Warning Messages

Does Xbox Live no longer send messages for Xbox360 your Gold is about to expire? I was playing with some friends and I was no longer allowed to do anything associated with having a Gold membership. I did NOT receive any Xbox Live messages or prompts telling
me that my Gold membership would expire soon, nor did I receive any e-mails from Xbox Live. If they don't I think that's stupid especially since it pooped on my day.

Microsoft Points

I had received a code for an amount of Microsoft Points and was unaware that they were able to expire. I came to the help service and I was told that an E-mail should be sent prior to the expiration of the codes as a warning, this E-mail did not arrive.
Am I able to be compensated for the lack of warning on the expiration of the points.

I apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused. Unfortunately Xbox does not send messages via Xbox Live notifying users about Membership Notices. Xbox Advertisement Team may send emails related to Xbox Live gold offers and more. The Microsoft Billing
team will send emails when your Account makes any purchases. To ensure you get emails and offers from Xbox and their partners please make sure that all your information here is updated:

Well, I did used to get a prompt a few days before and the day of expiration when I logged in to my account on my Xbox but this time I didn't. That was my main problem.

 

you send us crap emails selling crap we never subscribed for yet the important things are always the last thing on microsofts mind

 

they've been removing 360 things since xbox one came out there's no longer a option in 360 settings to have downloads run while console is off

 

clearly your not a ambassador because you break rules by using names in the forums

 

Please do not bump old threads.

Background downloads are still available on the 360 under console settings.

Naming & shaming is not allowed on the forums,thanking a fellow ambassador or forum user is allowed.

Any other issues then you will need to start your own thread.
