Gold Edition Game disc

I bought the day one Gold Edition disc fron Amazon. Everything's been great. Season pass, etc. Installed on my Elite X1. Memorial Day, bought The Division as DL content for my Day One X1. Had a friend coming over and wanted to fire up on both systems
for his inaguration into TCTD. The purchase of the $59.99 TD on my Day One X1 overrode the $99.99 Gold Edition purchase I have on my Elite X1.

Figured, no problem, grab my QR code and get it back. Lost the code card, evidently.

How do do I confirm the prior purchase and upgrade my Elite back to Gold Edition?

Xbox destroying my friends disc?

I am borrowing my friends game of Marvel Ultimate Alliance: Gold Edition. Everytime I try to install the game to my harddrive, my screen will be stuck at the "initializing" the disc with not even a percent bar loading. Now the disc has MANY surface scratches
from the disc trying to be installed.

Resident Evil 5 on Xbox Live - Disc Read Error

I'm surprised no other thread mentioned this, but yeah, the "extra figurines" content will restrict playing other downloads. In your case it will continue to say "disc read error" even if it was purchased over Xbox Live (no disc copy). Generally, the game
is pretty old now and people often buy the gold edition on sale or something like that. From what I know, gold edition comes with the extra figurines and doesn't have this problem.

The additional items the Gold Edition gave you can be re-installed from the store. When you scanned the QR code the first time you 'purchased' the Gold Edition packs and it automatically installed them. If they somehow were uninstalled you can just re-download
them from the store.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you have Game Pass, you'll be able to access the standard edition of Forza Horizon 5 (not the disc). You'll need Gold or Game Pass Ultimate to play online. If you have the disc, you would need Gold or Game Pass Ultimate to play online.

Hi, Did you download the games with gold version? If so, then try installing your disc version of the game instead. The Xbox might recognise the edition of the game, and install the dlc for you too.

is it a disc or digital version?

sometimes ejecting the disc and putting it back in can solve this problem

if it is disc, another cause could be if it is a Deluxe or Gold edition. Backwards Compatibility only works on the base game so if it is an enhanced version with extras included (DLC, etc) then it will give that error as well
