    Gold Dust Mission


    Quick question - I have played the 3 games with gold during the featured period for 3 months running for the 10 hours required and the mission Gems have not been rewarded?

    Please can you confirm for me?

    I played............

    Back to the future for over 10 hours in Dec

    Zombi for over 10 hours in Jan

    Assassins Creed Chronicles India for over 10 hours in Feb

    Gold Dust Clarification/Freedom mission issue

    Hello SSGojeta,

    Yes, a game is "featured" during the date range specified on the Games with Gold page (Games with Gold | Xbox Live), so for example ZOMBI would be within the "featured" period
    between 1/16 and 2/15 (30 days, as you mentioned). The 10 hours of playtime can be from any combination of these featured titles during the month, so for example you could play 5 hours of Tomb Raider and 5 hours of ZOMBI later this month. Regarding your FREEdom
    question, it can take us up to 96 hours to receive and process new activity, so if you only recently played your title, it would still be too early to see that progress.

    Thanks for your detailed report. Using these details, we were able to narrow down a possible issue tracking your time in Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India. Currently, your play time in late February is not accurately progressing this challenge, causing
    the challenge to not complete. We have escalated this issue to another team to investigate. Once they can confirm a resolution for this issue, and we can confirm a Rewarding of Gems, we will update this thread. Apologies for the inconvenience.

    Thanks for looking into this, I just wanted to check if this was resolved yet? Is this not going to have a knock on effect with the next stage of this reward (e.g., playing the games for 10 hours for 6 months consecutively etc)

    Sorry for the delay. We received word earlier this week from our other team working on this issue that the problem had been resolved, but we did not see your MyChallenge complete immediately after the resolution was deployed. We see that the resolution from
    our other team has finished updating and calculating your progress, and this MyChallenge is now awaiting you to claim it on your MyRewards page!

    Regarding your question about a potential "knock-on" effect where this issue cascades into your following months and negatively impacts your progress going forward, this should not be an issue. The fix that was deployed was a complete
    refresh of tracking your progress towards this MyChallenge, so any delays or errors caused by the issue would not continue going forward on your following month's progress. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience!
