Ok, so i did use a code for my Xbox live gold to renew and now the day has come for it to renew. I signed out of my Xbox and signed back in. And the first thing it says it to purchase Gold. I already bout gold but its not working. I don't have the card anymore.

problems redeeming xbox gold

My gold was supposed to automatically renew but it stopped renewing a while ago for some reason, i didn't notice because i was playing fall out 4 so i didn't need gold. I got battle front on Christmas eve went to play it and noticed that it didn't renew.
When i tried to buy gold with my debit visa it said "this payment option is used on as many accounts as it is allowed to be." which doesn't make any sense because it is only being used on the one account. so then i went and bought a 6 month gold card, when
i entered the 25 digit code my xbox recognized that it was 6 month plus 1 bonus month card but when i hit confirm it said "something went wrong. give it another try" i have tried several times. i have no idea whats going on my xbox wont let me renew my gold.

Yeah mine gave me a month on the Xbox one then just told me that I didn't have gold anymore. My gold membership is supposed to be renewed every april

Hm...it says Gold on the website but Silver on the actual Xbox. There's no renewal or expiration date. I suppose that does help. Thanks!

Unfortunately, you didn't disable that option then. Making a purchase on the Xbox Store will not re-enable auto-renew. The only time it will be re-enabled is when you redeem a code for Gold or purchase Gold on the dashboard.

As far as not receiving the points for renewing Gold, they will not show up until your membership was supposed to end.

Example: You renew today, Gold ends in tomorrow, you will receive those points in a few days.

You renew today Gold expires in September, you wont get those points until September.
