GOLD Code Redeemed but Account Says "Membership: Free"

I just bought an Xbox Live Gold 3M Code, and redeemed it here on the website. It said it was successful, but when I opened my X360 and checked account settings, it still said my membership is free, and the home screen on the dashboard still gives me
the "GO GOLD" ad. I checked for countries where Live services are available, and Israel is one of them, so what's the problem here?

12 month membership code redemption problem

I purchased a 12 month gold membership, (came with I month free and free hat!) redeemed the code on my Xbox , membership for the year has not been put onto my account, when I try to re enter the code it says it has already been redeemed

12 month prepaid live gold error

And another one. 12 month code, redeemed on xbox, got an error, account not upgraded to Gold but says code has been used. Also got a confirmation e-mail of my Gold status. Tried again on the xbox.com website

Just checked my Services & Subscriptions page and it shows my Gold Membership expiring December 2017. However I have no access to any Gold services.

Did you buy a israel membership code or a US code?

You can only redeem codes from your region

Also are you sure it wasn't 48hour or 14day code

Those do not change your status to gold

You can check what you added to your account by logging in to commerce.microsoft.com

Sometimes there is a delay between Xbox.com and the console. On here, you're showing as a Free member. Give it a few hours and it should kick in.

Otherwise, contact Xbox Support and they'll help you out.

If it was a full gold membership then it should have shown as gold on the forums.

The MW3 comes with a free 2 day Gold Membership Trail. Inside your Games Case, there is a paper leaflet saying that you get 2 days free Gold membership, just look on the backside of the leaflet towards the bottom. There is a Code which you enter in. It will
look like this XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

On your xbox, go to your account, then memberships, redeem code, and type that code in.

Just bought x box for my son, he got one month free gold membership with it, purchased 12 month gold membership in Sainsbury's this morning, he entered redeem code but its not showing up in account history or transaction history yet,

YES, Simply redeem the code on the card.

That's it. No need for new accounts. Just redeem the gold membership code on the account you use.
