    I renewed my Xbox Live Gold but I can't play online, get in parties, but I can still get free games from the store with Gold perks.

    Gold comes in at a faster rate. Anywhere you find gold in bodies and loot, it can be double what it normally is.

    It's a nice perk to have, but if you're choosing based on race perks, you have to decide if that works for you.

    I may go that way with my next character, as the race perks don't really sell for me, except for the Khajiit.

    It's a perk for being gold. Kind of like a staff discount.
