Gold, and Game pass on separate accounts

I have 2 accounts on my XBOX 1. One is currently gold and I enjoy the benefits on both accounts. But if I were to upgrade my secondaccount to game pass, would that effect the other account? additionally, when game pass expires, would the gold account on
the other account be affected?

Purchasing a Game Pass/expiration of Game Pass on the 2nd account would have no effect on the 1st account.

if you want to play the games from Game Pass on your first account you will need to designate your Xbox as the Home Xbox for your second account

The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription contains the Gold subscription, so it's not necessary to purchase gold separately, if you plan to keep this subscription you don't buy gold and game pass separately because its more expensive
