Gold and EA, help

If you buy a game then you will still have the full version of the game without gold but you won't be able to play online & some games require you to be online to play them.

Any game you download for free with E.A. access will require an active E.A. access subscription in order to play it.If you don't have E.A. access then you wont be able to play that game unless you buy it.

The gold account can use gold anywhere including a friends house

Anyone can use gold features on the home console without issue

However ea pass free vault games requires the account holder to be signed in to use the contents

Paid content can be used by any account on the home console as per ea passes faq

So the gold account can be signed in on the 2Nd console and use ea pass but only his profile can do so

In order for your setting to work you need a 2Nd ea pass on the 2Nd profile and only in the home console as they would benefit from the home gold

An ea pass can only be signed in on one profile at a time but that's why you need a 2Nd pass as it's account specific

You can only sign into an account on one console at a time. So in order for them to play at the same time, they would each need their own account. Also, sharing accounts is actually a violation of the code of conduct. They can share games and gold though
through the Home setting.

I think by Easy Access you mean EA Access. Technically you don't need both EA Access and gold. EA Access just lets you have access to EA games for free or discounts on their games. A gold subscription is what allows you to play online multiplayer, access
Games with Gold, and access Deals with Gold.
