    Gold Account what is that???


    Chat support keeps spinning out but here is the gist. I went on Xbox live yesterday and though my membership of 12 years doesn't expire until the 27th of this month, yall decided to tell me that it was expired yesterday so I had to pay for another month
    just to get online. I simply want a refund. I do not intend to keep up with this Gold account anymore and want to end my Gold account this month.

    Why? That is not important. I planned on quitting two months ago, but due to autopay, MS got two extra months out of me at full price. I am done. Just want my money back for this month. I already have a bunch of games that I will never be able to sell
    and no games that me or my old friends want to play together anymore. I want out.

    No other way to contact MS at the moment.

    New to Xbox, Question About Live

    Silver account is free, Gold account is a pay account that lets you play online. What games are you getting with your One?

    Gold on 360 and One

    An existing Gold account will work on the X1 and 360 simultaneously, but you have never been able to assign an account's Gold status to another account. An account is either Gold or it isn't.

    I think the family Gold on the X1 is a bit misleading, because the way I read the description on the X1 doesn't make it sound any different to how licenses work on the 360, i.e. one license to the account and one to the console. I don't think the new guest account feature grants access to multiplayer matches or content either.

    I have two xbox ones and xbox live gold is only working on one of them

    Well the account with gold will have gold no matter the xbox it's on as long as its signed in it does not have to be homed for the gold but the account needs to be signed in for other accounts to have gold no matter what

    What Gold features are you trying to use with the account?

    Be aware, that only Multiplayer and Party chat will work. You will NOT be able to get the Gold discounts or free Games with Gold on the non-Gold account, even if the console shares the Gold of the gold-owning account.

    You can make what ever account you are on silver, or gold. But you can not move a silver or gold account onto another.

    What these people are not teling you is that Xbox one has universal xbox live gold. So if one account has gold all of them do but this feature is not available on 360. So from what you're describing I think that another account on your console has the gold
    membership and your account doesn't.
