    gold account not recognised


    hi all, i have a 1 month free gold subscription that is set to auto renew, checked at microsoft billing, runs to 25 Jan.

    problem is my new xbox one doesn't see it, it says "go gold", so i tried to follow the on screen route to get gold but it wont let me because i already have gold on the account.

    it did work untill yesterday, is it something to do with the live status warning?, checked for other similar problems but can't find any info.

    any help appreciated, thanks for reading gold account not recognised :)

    Hi

    Can you please try a full console restart to see if you Gold subscription is then recognised by your console. If this did not work I would next suggest you try removing your account from the console and re load your account hopefully your subscription will
    then be recognised by your cone.

    If carrying out the two suggestions above did not work can you please click on
    this link here you should be able to confirm your current account subscriptions including the expiry date of your gold subscription.

    As a precaution, if you submit payment with a credit card there will be a forced automatic renewal option. Although some sources say you can remove this online - that feature is broken and the only current way to remove this is by calling their support at:
    Toll free: (800) 4MY-XBOX or (800) 469-9269

    If you opt not to cancel the auto-renew, by the time you see the charge on your bank account it may be too late to request a refund. (For myself it wasn't charged until 30 days after the 'billing date')

    If you do opt to call them to cancel the auto-renew be sure to have the information listed from this page handy:
    support.xbox.com/.../call-us.aspx

    According to your gamercard on this forum you have a free silver membership.

    Either you have one of those free trials that are actually silver memberships with online privileges or there is something wrong with your account.

    As this will be a billing issue you are better off contacting xbox supports billing department.

    You can get there by moving the cursor over 'Support' at the top of this webpage then select billing. In the billing screen, scroll down then select 'contact us'

    How long ago did you upgrade to gold? Sometimes it takes the website a little while to recognise that you're gold.
