    My xbox one isn't recognizing that I have a gold subscription, despite me having one. If i check my commerce.microsoft.com page it lists me as currently having an xbox live gold account. I have tried removing my profile from my console and then resigning
    in. I have also tried holding the power button down to completely shut down the xbox one and restart it.

    I'd appreciate any help anyone can give me.

    Xbox Gold Membership not working?

    Hey Bootcamp,

    The console could be having trouble recognizing your brand new subscription. We recommend you try Powercycling Your Console by shutting off
    the Xbox and unplugging it for 10 seconds. If your Gold is still not being recognized, try Removing and Adding
    your account.

    Same problem. I was using the gold from my brothers xbox (his was set as my home xbox) and his gold ran out. He got it back a day later but it still shows that I don't have gold.

    Gold account not being recognized by xbox one console.

    If your Gold membership account is the one you're posting with then it is showing as Silver only. If this is not the case then you'll need to contact phone support in your region for more assistance. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

    Did you use a trial code? If so that would be why

    Trial codes only give you temporary access to certain non ranked multiplayer modes

    Also if your account region isn't an Xbox one live region that would be why as you would have to wait till your region is supported

  6. Thanks for the help. I am posting from the account that I'm having the issue with.

    My current Live Gold account is the month free trial that microsoft provides for new users, however I just activated it 11 days ago, and had no problems with it until yesterday. Now if I go to my commerce.microsoft.com page it still says that I'm an active
    gold member until the 2nd, but everywhere else it seems to not recognize that I have the account. I have a year subscription purchased and waiting to be entered, but I don't want to put it in if it isn't going to work. When I called the xbox support number
    they told me that they didn't understand why my gold wasn't working. Then he checked the microsoft live status page and said that they were having some problems with the xbox live service, and that I should just wait until that is completed. I checked the
    status page and the issue is entirely different to mine. Anyway, I've been on 3 chats with community ambassadors, 2 of which immediately disconnected with me, and the last that disconnected in the middle of the process. The chat applet for proper support
    just continuously fails to load and I'm entirely unsure of who to actually contact at this point. Should I just keep calling support over and over until I find someone who actually knows how to address this issue? Should I risk putting in the my new subscription
    and hope that my account doesn't do it again?

    This is definitely a billing issue that only phone support can handle. You'll need to contact them for help with this.

    If you want to add your year membership to your account you can do that. It should not stop working but if it does then that will need to be addressed with phone support as well.

    Alright. I'll give phone support another shot tomorrow and make sure they know its not an issue with all of live but just my account. Thanks for the help.

    Are you still having issues with your Xbox One not recognizing that you're an Xbox Live Gold member? Your account currently shows being a Gold member, so hopefully that reflects with your console now. :)

    This is definitely a billing issue that only phone support can handle. You'll need to contact them for help with this.
