how amazing, i get nothing in response to my appeals about my gamertag being removed, not even my two posts in the forums have been approved, yet when i cancel my gold renewal i get a response in less than 30 mins telling me i can renew when i wish... like
that's going to happen!!!

why my gold account is closed???????????????? a couple of days ago..... xbox cannot send me my advertissement for one month left before rebuying gold!!!! what the ***???

Closed account

There is actually no way to completely delete an Xbox account from the servers once it has been created. So it is normal to still see it. The above method of closing the account will only close the Microsoft account itself.

That would be because you can not appeal a forced name change. Your name was deemed offensive, after somebody reported it. The system generated a new name for you. No way around it, no appeal, no way to receive a free name change as the system generated
one WAS your free name change.

Fact is that the system, will not allow you to generate an offensive name, but like i told the guy on support, i've had the name 5 years and he couldn't see why it got removed either. My gamertag was buckin_fonkers he thought it was cool. Frankly i believe
that the system generates a [Mod Removed] name for you, so that you HAVE to pay to change it thus making more money for microsoft, come on lets get real here who is going to name themselves rapidcalf? I wouldn't be surprised to find out i
was reported by some spotty little 14 year old whos kill streak i ruined on COD. Well microsoft, you enjoy the cost of a name change that you will NOT be getting and you also enjoy the revenue from gold that you have lost. Watch the stats go up on psn by at
least one more when i sell my xbox one and buy a ps4 and i think i'll write to the press about it too and see what they have to say.

Hi,

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ ( click on manage near gold account ) , you can cancel the autorenewal or close the gold account.

You can promote the offline account to Live, then purchase a Gold subscription on it to use on your One. You won't be able to use your friend's Gold on your One. You can get rid of the account by going to account.live.com and clicking on Close Account
at the bottom.
