    Tired of trying to renew gold. Tried it first with a prepaid card and again with a code.

    Ive been two days trying to get a gold subscription of 12 months so I can keep playing the games I love but I wont let me extend. Tried first with a prepaid card and didnt work and now I tried with a code from a 12 month subscription that I just buyed and
    still does not let me subscribe. It says that an unexpected error has ocurred and that microsoft will work with the issues and that I should try again later.

    Never heard of either of these places... always a little sketch to do it.

    EDIT: Seems it went up to 43$ now.

    Same issue here, it keeps saying "Something went wrong. Sorry about that. Try your purchase again in a few minutes". This is very frustrating...

    I had the same problem yesterday. My Xbox recognised the codes but came they through as an error, for whatever reason. I had guests come over yesterday so I was unable to play/enter codes for the rest of that day. Once I got up this morning (about 20 hours
    after I last tried to enter a code) the code went through fine, so I think Xbox may have got to the problem or it might just be a time thing. Let me know if this helps :

    Xbox live gold problem

    When you added the Ultimate, your Gold would have been cancelled and converted to Ultimate. To go back to just Gold, you would either need to cancel your current subscription or wait for it to run out (turning off auto-renewal) and then add a new Gold subscription. However, Xbox no longer offers a 12 month subscription to Gold, so you would either need to purchase a 1 month or 3 month subscription or purchase a 12 month code from a retailer.
