Goat simulator will not update

It gives this error: "There was a problem with the update".

I verified my network connection, did a hard shutdown and restart of the Xbox and it still will not update.

I haven't received one of my MixPot rewards after waiting a week

As mentioned before, if you have already redeemed Goat Simulator through Games with Gold, you would not have received Goat Simulator through the MixPot during TGA. We apologize for any frustration this may have caused, but we're unable to provide Goat Simulator
in this scenario.

Sorry to hear about the update trouble. Have you by chance tried uninstalling the game and re-installing it to see if there's any change with the error?

 

I tried this about an hour before you responded and it appears to have worked. The game did not actually need an update, the installation just did not work.

 

I have this issue. Uninstalling and redownloading didn't work for me. Does anybody have any other suggestions? I have also tried hard resetting too.

It worked for me too! Uninstall, the re-install, works like a charm.
