Goat simulator mmore goats on 360 purchased. Why do I have to buy It again on Xbox one?

so I purchased Goat simulator mmore goats edition on 360 ages ago. Just got an Xbox one this week and went to look for it in the store to download. Why do I have to pay for this game a second time? Bit of a money grab isn't it?

my question is why does it say on the video Goat Simulator is coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360! if its only on xbox one

I didn't get the mixPot reward

That would indicate you already own Goat Simulator. If you had already purchased the game, or redeemed through Games with Gold, you would not receive the game digitally through the MixPot.

it tells me on the the goat simulator page you can play this now or buy it to own so I don't have it

Thanks for the support message.

You do have to pay for it again because you moved to another console. Everyone had to re-purchase the games they wanted on Xbox One even if they had it on 360. It's not just you.

Hi Tom!

Since your son had the game off Game Pass before, it must the Xbox One version. Please note that the game has two versions - the 360 and Xbox One.

Please browse on each game using the links above then scroll down below and check each add-ons that you purchased on your son's account. Click on each add-on and make sure you're signed in to the website using your son's account and confirm which version of add-ons he owned. If he owned a certain game or add-ons, it won't show the "Buy" option but instead "Install to".
